Flying Across America

Promoting General Aviation

What a start ! Thank you for that

This blog has been online for three days and we received lot of support and feed-back. It’s really good to see many of you interested in our project and want to take part in it. This is the proof that our belief that aviation creates friendship and solidarity is true !

Kimberly Risley from created a splendid new logo for us and we just received additional artwork from her. We will release her new pictures very soon on additional tee-shirts and mousepads. We’ll post an update when they will be availalbe, but you can already see a preview below.

We also want to thank those who linked to us from their blogs or website: Todd from and all the team of Not only they posted about us, but they started to post our banners all over the Internet and bought us miles.

As you know, our route will depend on the support we’ll get from you. It seems like we’ll stop at Baton Rouge, LA. If you’re in the area and want to help us, contact us, we’ll get you in touch with our supporter there. Thanks a lot John.

We’ve several other actions in preparation but it’s too early to talk about them. We study all the proposals we receive - don’t hesitate to contact us if you have an idea how to support us. We’re looking for local support along our route, but also for giveaways. If you have an aviation product to promote, don’t miss this opportunity.

We finally want to thank our Twitter followers. You guys made a great job helping us spreading the word about our project. We know that pilots are not selfish guys isolated in their cockpits and we work hard building a community around our project. Join by following us on Twitter, we’re @FlyingAcrossUSA. We like when you retweet our messages and help us getting more followers. If you’re on facebook, join our group and don’t hesitate to invite other aviation nuts. Not a fan of social media ? Feel free to leave a comment on this post or in our guestbook.

This was a good take-off, we’re now climbing. Help us reaching our cruise altitude, spread the word. We have fliers to help you with this task. Click here to downlowad the US Letter version or here for the A4 version. Print your own copies and distribute them at your airport, FBO, flying club, company, everywhere you want.

Thank you.
